Ouch. :lol :lol

Also, Bagwell making $20 million on the bench and Clemens making $20 mil for half a season are some pretty sweet deals for the players. Not so much for the team...

With Park, Texas is paying $6 million of it and $4 million is deferred, so they're only paying him $5 million so he's not taking up too much of the payroll

As for hampton

2001: 8M

2002: 8.5M

After he was traded:

COL/ FLA/ ATL

2003: 0/9/2

2004: 0/10/2

2005: 0/11/1.5

2006: 2/0/11.5

2007: 2/0/12.5

2008: 2.5/0/12.5

----(contract expires)

2009: 8/0/0

2010-2018 (each year): 2/0/0

Colorado: $49 million

Florida: $30 million

Atlanta: $42 million

So, in actuality, Colorado is paying him $24.5 million a year for two years, Florida paid him $30 million when he never pitched for them, and Atlanta is paying an average of $7 million a year for six years
