Posted January 25, 200718 yr According To Recent History (2001-on), the Next MLB CHAMP will be coming from the National League West Baseball will also be the first of the four sports to have 8 different champions in 8 seasons. 2001- National League West (D-Backs) 2002- American League West (Angels) 2003- National League East (Fish) 2004- American League East (Red Sox) 2005- American League Central (White Sox) 2006- National League Central (Cardinals) 2007- National League West (Dodgers, Rockies, Padres, Giants, D-Backs) Id also like to point out that this will be the 8th year in a row that the "Yankees" wont be winning the trophy, even with Roger Clemens on his way there....
January 25, 200718 yr it's going to be the rangers. showwalter was fired...and the last two times showwalter has been fired, their teams won the whole thing.
January 25, 200718 yr Author Rangers will win it in 2 years, when its their turn. Its National League this year
January 25, 200718 yr I'll pick LA, they've made some nice moves toward being a serious contender. :thumbup

January 25, 200718 yr Lets just cancel the season and have the NL West play in a playoff instead then. I don't even think I could say the World Series winner will be from the NL, let alone NL West.
January 25, 200718 yr I give the Tigers a good shot, after just missing last year. The Dodgers are intriguing as well.
January 25, 200718 yr anyone realize that there are some miraculous stories in almost every world series winner up there... not one was a favorite? dbacks should have lost to the yankees and made a miraculous comeback against mariano... the angels were down and made a huge comeback against the giants and steroids... do I even need to go over the Marlins or the Bosox?... the white sox is my only hole... the cards had no business even being in the playoffs and if it werent for the mets laying a terd(turd)... they wouldnt have been there... CONSPIRACY anyone??? Moneymaking scheme by the best commissioner all of a sudden selig?
January 25, 200718 yr I like the Dodgers. Pitching, hitting, adequate defense. I like them a lot. I don't think the Rangers have the pitching to make it.

January 26, 200718 yr Chicago Cubs. If you don't believe me, look at their roster. im guessing soriano learned to pitch then? either that, or he learned how to erase history

January 26, 200718 yr A Cub couldn't win the WSOP with 80% of the chip count... I see the Tigers/Sox/Sox being the AL favorites... and the Cardinals/Dodgers/Mets being the NL favorites... does that mean anything, of course not... but I wouldn't mind the Marlins sneaking in and extending their streak of consecutive postseason series won... :shifty Edit: I just realized that all 3 NL favorites are gonna be doing ST a stone's throw away from my house... wow
