Beer is my friend.

Recommended Posts

So, this summer I finally took the plunge and started brewing my own beer. Using kits for the time being until I get the hang of it, but it was a lot of fun. I brewed a summer ale at the time, made a few minor mistakes, but nothing major. It still came out tasting great. Today, I ordered kits for three different IPA varieties. I love IPAs so I think these ones are going to be a lot of fun.

I've wanted to try myself but can never seem to find the time.

It's (or at least the first recipe I tried) requires surprisingly little time. Set aside a few hours one day and then set aside a few hours a month or two later.

That's why I haven't been able to. Business this time a year is hectic. I'll make an attempt in the fall.

Was it hard to make a beer? Does it include a yeast?

No and yes. It's surprisingly easy and fun. I'll be bottling my next batch probably early next week.
