Posted April 1, 200718 yr I really expect Mike Jacobs to take a nice little step forward this year.. nothing huge but I think he can put up numbers somewhere between LaRoche and A. Gonzalez from last season I think he's due for a healthy bump in HRs from 20 to 27 and a bump in doubles from 37 to 44 (was 5th in NL for 1B). He does that, he could be top 10 for doubles in the NL. When that happens, I think a line of .275/.350/.520/.870... Mix this with a little bump in production from Willy, I think 1-5 our lineup will do some damage. Just need the back end to step it up.
