Posted June 10, 200717 yr Scott Olsen, who is scheduled to start Tuesday night against Cleveland, has been suffering from flu-like symptoms recently. Olsen not only looked feverish Saturday, but said he has been unable to eat anything but lettuce the past two days. The second-year starter is just 1-4 in his past seven starts.Source: Miami Herald Rotoworld. Could this effect his start on Tuesday... having the flu is not very fun?
June 10, 200717 yr Author He can only eat lettuce? That's a new one. Hahaha... yea I know. Usually people only eat saltines and noodle soup.
June 10, 200717 yr Well, being that he is flu like on Sat., by tuesday he will be just be plain sick and weak. Will probably pitch and be the best game he has pitched this season. How many times do you see this, or it has happened to you-you need to scale back and be efficient, you are a bit weak so you slow down, concentrate on mechanics and just bascially relax. It is so wierd, but you then just do great. My prediction anyways. Let's see how it goes.
June 10, 200717 yr What in the world. He can only eat lettuce? I've never heard of such a thing, unless you're talking about an iguana or a bunny rabbit. With his sharp tongue I think I'll start calling him lizard boy.
June 10, 200717 yr Ive heard of people only eating lettuce, but not because of the flu. It's usually for more serious sickness when they can't eat. Maybe he is like me and hates soup.
