Bradcore
I get this every time I boot up. Then when I hit cancel, it comes back again like 3 more times or so.
Maxx
I would like to hear an answer to this as well. My brother's computer does the same thing and I couldn't figure out how the hell to remove it.
juanpierre
It seems to be a windows installer. Your welcome.
yankeefan21
It's a bad install/uninstall of Norton. Try completely removing Norton and reinstall. Make sure you have the CD!
Guest CrimsonCane
NAV stands for Norton Anti-Virus. This link should help: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Computer-Securi...es-1737/NAV.htm
yankeefan21
Here's a link to the Norton Removal Tool: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...005033108162039 If you have trouble, download the Norton Removal Tool then reboot into safe mode. Run the removal tool from there.
Bradcore
Ok. Then I have another problem. My Norton came with my computer. I just renewed it back in October, so I have no installation files or disks.
yankeefan21
Call your computer manufacturer [Dell?] and tell them what's happening. You can also call or email Norton support. They may send you the software media for free.
Passion
If you have the registration key and all that information from when you pruchased/renewed it you should be able to use that to re-download the software from their site.
Bradcore
I checked into that, but I don't have any options to download it. Hell, when I renewed to 2007, it downloaded through the previous version. I may just wait until next year and purchase an actual disc.
