Why not?

mlbtraderumors.com, has the marlins and cardinals as possible suitors.

and also calls him the "kerry wood" of position players

anything is better than borchard i say.

I wouldn't mind getting him. He's a centerfielder which we need. The only problem is that he's been on the DL 5 times in the last two season.

FINALLY SOMEONE!! I will take Bradley with one arm before a 100% healthy borchard

BTW when are we DFA Reggie for good?

wow....please sign him ASAP

Yeah... why the f not I say

I would love to get this guy.

Worth a try.

Wow, i saw this on ESPN and i quickly got here to post about this but i was beat. lol.

he has hit well in the time that he has played so far this season. .296 with 2 HR in about 96 AB's.

He would deffinately be our CF and would be nice to add him. Please get him!!

The problem with Bradley has always been the guy's attitude. Other than that he is a star. Injuries are a non-issue.

I don't know why he'd be considered a 'star'...but he's a huge upgrade over Borchard and a legit CF...plus he can hit vs lefties and righties.

He's a huge upgrade over every single person we've had at center field since like Mark Kotsay or something.

Let's not get our panties all in a knot boys, Marlin Magic has always been due to team chemistry and Milton Bradley is a cancer everywhere he goes. Raw natural ability gets you so far. He may have individual stats that appear to be a good fit but the guy is not reliable in important situations. As for Borchard he looks dismal at the plate but has great mechanics, is smart and has an excellent attitude. He has been working his butt off to improve and he will it might not be this year but he will be a key to some team, weather it is here or elsewhere. Remember Derrek Lee in 1998, he hit bombs but was striking out every other at bat. Fans also were booing him off the field for his skills at first base. Given a half year and steady work with Perry Hill he emerge as the greatest 1st baseman the Marlin's have ever had. I look at Abocrambie and see a lot of raw strength and skill, he is just not ready but he will be in time. The biggest loss this year has been the loss of Perry Hill who retired, he was the best skills coach in the game and made golden gloves of a lot of Marlin infielders, his loss has been felt and the terrible play of late is so below the excellence our infield usually does and must display if we are to win anything. This year has been a year of incredible offensive strength, however our ability to fabricate runs has been awful...how many guys have we stranded this year...how many no and one out situation with men in scoring position have we left stranded. This will change or it is coachings fault. Yes we need a centerfielder, and yes Borchard needs to start hitting for a major league average but Hermedia needs to step up and be the guy that he is expected to be and play. He is dropping easy fly balls and hitting inconsistently...yes he has his moments but he has superstar skills and was everyones lock for rookie of the Year before last year started and he is just a good player now. Pitching will come into shape as it always does for the Marlin's they have so many guys that are just getting out of puberty and need Game situation experience to get consistent. We are going to win the Wild card again this year and no roster changes need to be made we just need consistent every play defense without the errors and walks. The Mets are the only team that is better then us right now and they don't have the chemistry and the New York fans and media are already starting wear on them. It is the Braves we need to match and we can do it, we just have to get back to 500 and then start winning series. It will be done. As for Bradley he is a panacea that would never work here. That's my take. Go Marlins the team that has given me more spectator moments of joy then any other team I have rooted for in my 43 years. God how I love he Fish!

Boog Sciambi wants to meet you on your front lawn.

Apparently, the Pads and Pirates have the inside track on a Bradley deal

Rotoworld says he is going to KC for Leo Nunez.

wtf would KC want him for?

:confused Yea, it is a really odd move. Unless they think they can flip him for something better at the deadline?

Is he up for arbitration again after the season?

If not... :confused

wtf would KC want him for?

Yeah, it kinda shocked me when I read it. I have no clue why they want him unless they fell they can get something better for Emil Brown than what the Royals gave up to acquire Bradley.

If thats all it took then we should've gotten him...

I don't understand why the Royals would pick him up, either. Probably a trade bait pickup.

For the Marlins, though. whether it be Dukes, Clark or someone else, a move needs to be made before the deadline.

See, I wouldn't even have a problem with this if Carroll was still getting the AB's, but he's going to rot on the bench for Alfredo f***ing Amezaga.

Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid.

Amezaga is not getting the hits and on base percentage that we all expected but come on, the guy is solid glue who can play every position on the field legitimately. Every team needs a guy like that and the Marlin's have always had a guy like that on the bench. He goes nowhere and is recognized by the team as a huge asset if they get in injury trouble. He plays hard and is a huge inpirational player. Give him some due, he was not meant to be the everyday centerfielder, yet he is there because we needed someone who could fill in while they found someone else. He is a journeyman who plays his role exceptionally well, his confidence at the plate needs some improving for now and they need speed at leadoff because Hanley has too much power to be up front. My take.
