I am applying to UCF within the next week but I want to know if anyone is at Valencia currently. If I do not get accepted into UCF, Valencia is a huge option right now as well as Santa Fe in Gainesville. I would love to talk to someone who is at Valencia and to know if you are involved with the whole UCF atmosphere and not just feel like your some outkast.

TCC isn't an option?

You may not believe it, but I was in the exact same position as you 4 years ago. I HATED FSU with a passion, and would only consider UCF or UF.

lol. The thing is I mean living in Boca UCF is close to home and Santa Fe is amazing because then I would be at UF after 2 years. UCF is a up and coming school now and they also have a lot to offer. I think Santa Fe is the better choice only because it would be a better college experience also I would soon attend UF. Thats why i want to know how Valencia is involving the community and if you feel apart of UCF.

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Why do you want to be so close to home anyway? I went from Boca to Tallahassee. Then I transferred to UF for grad school and Gainesville was the most grotesque, homeless infested place Ive ever been. After being in Gainesville, I will be going back to Tallahassee in a year for Law School while doing my best to avoid Gainesville, FL. Santa Fe doesnt guarantee to you admission to UF, it only guarantees you admission to a state school, USF, FSU, UF, UCF, etc.... People I knew that sucked at UF and ended up taking classes at Santa Fe ended up hating themselves. Do you really think you cant do better than VCC or SFCC? I dont see SFCC being a "better college experience" than anything unless you like sitting in classes with 28 year olds who cant speak english who are holding their screaming babies while the "professor" gives you take home multiple choice tests.

As soon as you leave The grounds of UF I admit it is deff hickville. I am only going to Valencia or Santa fe if i do not get into UCF. I dont want to go to Johnson&Whales either. I want to be close to home because I love it here and I love the life I am living. It's good to go explore and go to new places and meet new people but I can see myself living in South Florida the majority of my life. Yes, I still have to perform at Santa Fe to be accepted into UF but I would prob have to go to Santa Fe for 2 years which really sucks. I figure I already have a good shot to get into UCF but if I do not get in I can go to Valencia and then just transfer in after 1 Year, if I perform.

Go to UNF, Jacksonville is fun as hell and the campus, while small is pretty beautiful and is in the middle of everything, like 2 hours away from Tally, an hour from Gainesville, and maybe 2 and a half from Orlando.
