LordMagnus
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/stor...;page=rumblings I think that's a bit bogus. While I expect Jacobs to drop off, he's proven he can hit 20+ home runs and if he stays healthy its not a stretch to think 30+ home runs and around 90 RBI. MarlinsMS_35
ESPN just doesn't like us. How hard is that to understand. it's ok, we'll be laughing when we hear "Deep To Left! And there it is, number 30 for Mike Jacobs!"
The Marlin Man
well first off, it's a scout that calls him this year's chris shelton. Not ESPN. Secondly, ESPN is mentioning his upper cut swing but he has really leveled off that swing....which is why his HRs are coming in the form of line drives. They also talk about the "canyon" that is Dolphins Stadium.....they seem to forget that it's much easier for lefties to hit HRs in that park. Obviously Stark hasn't done is HW. Oh and Marlins MS....my guess would be number 30 will be " DEEP to RIGHT!"....not left. lol
