Good :D :

It appear RHP Denny Bautista(Pedro's cousin) is back

JUPITER (FSL) RHP DENNY BAUTISTA tossed six hitless innings in a 4-1 win at Palm Beach. The 20-year-old Bautista, who walked two and struck out six, retired the final 10 batters he faced to earn the win. RHP BRAD HAYNES allowed a two-out single to Chris Duncan to end the no-hit bid.

Alot don't know to much about Messanger but the kid has a live fastball. Messanger early on his career was a closer but it appears the team wants him as starter.

"Randy Messenger and Ryan Mottl squared off Sunday, both exiting the game in a scoreless tie. Messenger left the game after four innings because of early season pitch-count limitations. He recorded the first five outs with strikeouts, but he labored with his command in the first inning when he walked two and often found himself deep in the count.

The 21-year-old Messenger, who went 11-8, 4.37 for Class A Jupiter last year uses a diverse repertoire consisting of a 90-92 mph fastball that touched 93, an average curveball with downward break, a changeup, a short slider and a hard splitter."

Cabrera didn't have a good game but......

"Marlins No. 1 prospect Miguel Cabrera struggled at the plate after starting the year 5-for-13 with two home runs. He went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts. Cabrera showed outstanding actions and lateral movement at third with plus arm strength."

OF Chip Ambers(Double A Carolina) is hitting .556, 3RBI, 2 HR, 1.222 SLG, .714 OBP, in 9 AB

RHP Ronald Belizario(Single A Greensboro) a future closer is off to a great start 7IN, 2H, 1R, 2BB, and 7K's while facing 22 Batters, is one for one in save opp.

Bad :( :

1B Jason Stokes(Single A Jupiter) and Robert Stratton(Triple A)have gotten off to slow starts for there teams. Stokes is hitting .235, 0HR, 4 RBI's in 17 AB's.

OF Robert Stratton is hitting .071, 1H, 3RBI, 8SO(WOW this guy just can't cut down on the K's) but the 1H was a 3HR.

RHP Don Levinski(Single A Jupiter) didn't last past the 4IN in his first start give up 6H, 3R,2BB coming back from elbow problems that end his season early last season.

OF (last yr. 1# pick) Jeremy Hermida(Single Low A Greensboro) is hitting .214, 0 RBI, 0 HR, 3H, 1BB in 14 AB. At least he is spraying the ball with a double and triple.
