TimeWrecker
Miami gets the short straw, a true test vs Arizona. Florida States beats the odds and gets the underdog Wichita State, who upset Oklahoma State.

Hotcorner
FSU upset earlier by Wichita State in the first game of their series. Great UM-'Zona game going on, ESPN! Knotted up at 3 in the 9th. Miami gets a leadoff double from Grandal their #9 hitter. Arizona brings in their closer.
Hotcorner
1 out now, 1st and 3rd for Alonso. OH MY GOD. Alonso just CRUSHED a pitch, and the wind is so strong it kept the ball in the park & winds up a double play. Center fielder ran a mile to chase that down. Insane, the crowd was ready to celebrate. Karl Ravech was calling the game like it was over.

FutureGM
OK, those were the two most pathetic baseball team performances I have ever seen. In Game 1 FSU set two bad records, one for most errors by a player in a CWS game (3), another for most runs allowed in one inning in a CWS game (11). Just disgusting. Then today, our team strands a record 17 runners in one game, setting another unwanted offensive record that results in a loss. If FSU had managed to get those last two runs and tie the game, after stranding that many runners, UM would have needed some counciling. Overall, a craptacular performance by the nation's best offense (at least in the regular season). Clearly it doesn't apply to the postseason. costabear
That was an ugly game...but I'll take it. It was pretty sweet to end Florida State's season.

RossInfoMan
Too bad college baseball gets no pub, because this is so improbable its amazing, #89 RPI winning the whole thing. Heard a great fact on ESPN-the #89 RPI team in basketball was a #7 seed-in the NIT!
