Because this team has no superstars, no individuals. This is a TEAM. Something baseball hasn't seen much of over the past few years (notice, two TEAMS have won the past two world series).

 

Everyone on this roster contributed greatly to our success. Pudge was just a part of it all. I mean, Cabrera, Pierre, ect. can be considered just as much, if not more valuable than Ivan.
