dom2613
Haha the netherlands wants nothing to do with hanley. Anyone lese notice how Hanley has closed his stance up?
Erick
Hanley went 1-3 with an RBI and 2 walks, in a 3-2 loss to the Netherlands today. For those wondering, I will try my best to edit the original post so you guys can see the WBC stats from our Fish. Right now, Canada and the U.S. are tied at 2, in the 4th inning; Lindstrom might make an appearance later on in the game.

Canada's starter has finally begun to struggle, as the United States has now taken a 4-2 lead with Brian McCann's HR. Not sure how Leroux will be used, either. Should be interesting. dom2613
Don't think were gonna see matt today. Espn just showed a list of guys left in the pen and he wasn't on it. Saw him in the dugout though.
Erick
Chris Leroux is coming in to pitch for Team Canada now.
Erick
Leroux gets McCann and Victorino to pop out, in the bottom of the 6th inning. He'll probably be back out there for the 7th inning. Edit: Leroux finishes his day by pitching 2/3 of an inning of scoreless ball. He is replaced in the 7th by highly-touted prospect, Phillipe Aumont. Erick
J.J. Putz is closing for the United States. Unless if something goes wrong, it looks like Lindstrom will have the day off today.
Erick
The newest member of that Mets bullpen looks like he can choke a game or two, as well. :lol 6-5 U.S. now. Man at 2nd, 2 outs. Putz needs to shut these Canadians up now.
Erick
The United States beat Canada, 6-5. Again, Leroux pitches .2 innings of scoreless baseball; Lindstrom got the day off.

Sacrifice flys do not count as at bats...at least, not according to MLB.com, so Han Ram had a .500 avg for the game with 1 rbi, 1 single, 2 walks and one very costly error. Undakai
i heard that Hanley got error during game He dove for a ball, making a nice play, but threw the ball away on the throw to first, allowing two runners to come in. Was a pretty big error, and he probably should have held onto the ball.
