They bring great passion and good knowledge.

Sure I wish they'd throw around some more OPS's and BABIP's and legitimate fielding stats, but there's a good chance the majority of the viewing audience isn't interested in that.

"He thinks it's funny!" - Tommy concerning Jose Reyes FTW

I heart Hutton. Didn't used to like Rich, he's grown on me a little. As long as he stops the "his name is Dan Uggla" call.

more than just a chance. :shifty

Rich can be a little annoying, and the running non-sense about sweater vests is bothersome as well. But aside from Harold Reynolds, there's not anyone I can pick out that I like better. When I still lived in DC I thought the Nats announcers were decent, but (and forgive me) I could not stand listening to Harry Kalas (God rest his soul) for our road games in Philly on MLB.tv.

PS - Chris Berman is an idiot. Eduardo Perez is another really special "analyst", but I don't think I've heard him announce games.

I HEART Rich and Tommy!

agreed :thumbup .. I do miss Len Kasper at times but after listening to most of the other teams announcers on mlb.tv Rich and Tommy are one of the best duo's. I do like the Indians announcers as well.

I hope you had a fun and joyous ride home :) .

It was dark and damp the whole way, but I made it back alright :)

My favorite Marlins announcer was Len Kasper, but Rich Waltz is growing on me. He was pretty terrible at first, but as he gained experience he got a lot better. Tommy has always done an excellent job.
