boring

We couldn't even get one game, seriously? I mean, one single, little game. AND we looked bad. We scored six runs and they scored more than twice that many. Lets see if we rebound elsewhere, pronto.

Discouraging.

How are we going to go up against the World Champions after being swept by the Pirates?

pathetic annoying embarassing demoralizing any one you want

Expected.

The Fish had played .500 ball against Pittsburgh not only historically but also since 2006. Just not a good matchup for the Marlins, for whatever reason.

f***.

I'm dissapointed that we couldn't at least win 1...but a 6-3 road trip...i'll take it. Mrlins have to do real good at home this season and play .500 ball on the road....our next road trip is even tougher...nolasco better step it up. but what people don't see is that pittsburgh isn't that bad of a team..

Humbling

Cold.

I expect us to bounce back against Philly. JJ will lead us to victory in game 1.

Forgotten.

Move on to play Phili at home and just put this series behind us...

The only real sad parts of this series were:

1. Nolasco not looking good

2. We never had the lead

3. Uggla 0 - 1,538

other than that, this team is still in first place and I'll take a 6-3 road trip any time, any where... it just feels worse because it ended by getting swept... if we would have won 2 out of 3 in all three series, we would still have the same record it would just be masked by three series wins, instead of two. And, I would rather beat up on the Braves and Nats and do the losing to the Pirates....

I agree Pittsburgh has gotten better, but seriously. One game at least, that's not too much to ask.

Garbage

Happy.

That we're not in the NL Central, nor are the Pirates in the NL East.

We just can't play well in Pittsburgh.

whatever

pittsburgh isn't a terrible team - they're new pitching coach has done well with the staff

game 1 was a terrible performance by miller

karstens is the type of pitcher the marlins have trouble with - patience isn't their strong suit and it's exploited by a guy like him - sanchez looked decent and it could of gone either way

today they actually touched up maholm a bit and maholm is a very good pitcher - unfortunately nolasco enjoyed giving up doubles, paulino/bonifacio couldn't execute the pick off play and it wasn't enough

the pirates bullpen also outperformed the marlins pen

to me they went 6-3 on a road trip and return home where the pitching matchups will swing in their favor

underlying concerns rest with the bullpen, nolasco and uggla at this point in the season

it's a long season and these things happen - get home and bring on the phils!

OK, I have two "one word"s.

First: Happens. You win 6 games, losing 3 games happens.

Second: Overreaction. This is more how I feel about the posts here since the first game.

Discouraging, but forgettable. We have a large part of the season left, and we still have yet to play the Phillies even once. We still only have 1 loss within the division. As long as we continue to play good against the division I feel good.

This was also the longest road trip of the season and it was, for the most part, a success...

I think this team will be fine

Couldn't agree more.

Realistic.
