I am looking into going to the marlins game on the 25th in philly from nyc,i plan on taking megabus which is 10$ roundtrip . does any1 know how easy it is to get from the bus stop to the stadium? i would like to leave early the next morning any1 with any tips for this trip?

philly stadiums are really easy to get to - you basically pick up the orange line off broad street and ride it all the way south

if you are in center city philadelphia the blue line hits the orange line at city hall - septa buses, cabs, your legs can also help you connect to the subway

does the megabus drop you off at the greyhound station? do you have a hotel, if so where?

The bus stops at either 30th street station or independence hall, i plan on getting in on monday at around 12 and leaving like 2 or 3 am tuesday morning

Yeah all the stadiums there are in the same place. I took the SEPTA metro when I went to a game there. Very convenient!

it would be easy to connect into the orange line from either location - it's a pretty quick trip down to the sports complexes and you'll have a ton of other baseball fans on the trains with you

monday nights will be quieter but there are a number of options of players to kill time between center city, the art museum area, university city or even south street

have fun - i miss philadelphia at times

i saw beckett pitch for the marlins in philly on dollar dog night - it was early in the season, the vet was empty and it was miserable weather - guys in my section kept joking that it was $6.25 beer day (which shows how long ago this was.........)
