August 5, 200915 yr LOL poor guy, isn't he living in Florida now? Cubs fans always looking for someone to blame.
August 5, 200915 yr Shouldn't they be interviewing the former Cub Alex Gonzalez? I mean he was the one that actually f*cked up the game on the field. Hell why not make the documentary about Dusty Baker about not taking out I believe it was Prior after he was showing signs of fatigue and was WELL over 100 pitches with a righty already up in the 'pen ready to face Cabrera. I still can't believe this guy actually got blamed for something any fan would've done in that situation. Ignore me, I'm just ranting here.
August 5, 200915 yr Didn't Moises Alou admit last year that he wouldn't have been able to catch the ball anyway? Thanks for waiting 5 years to tell everyone, Alou.....

I'm not blaming him, but I still remember watching on TV and thinking "ok, nobody reach for the ball". I dunno, I guess if I was a Cubs fan and in his position I wouldn't have been able to think straight.
August 7, 200915 yr Its only a bigger deal than it is because it IS the Cubs... and it just lends creedence to the whole curse thing... thats basically it. If that happens in a Mariners-A's game in mid-May in Oakland... nobody mentions it... period.

If that happens in a Mariners-A's game in mid-May in Oakland... nobody mentions it... period. It is certainly a bigger deal because it involved the Cubs and their curse, but I think if it happened to another team, in the playoffs, especially in game where they could have clinched the league championship it, would still be a big deal. Look at Jeff Maier.

Look at Jeff Maier. Jeffery Mayer incident occured to the Yankees. Yankees are the most famous baseball team ever, and the fact that it led to the Yankees winning the series is the reason it is remembered. Also many people like to mention how Mayer also went on to play college ball.
August 8, 200915 yr Lmao! I love that episode. When I saw that for the first time, I couldn't stop laughing.
August 8, 200915 yr Lmao! I love that episode. When I saw that for the first time, I couldn't stop laughing. Yeah, if I remember correctly, it's from the movie: "Stewie's Untold Stories". From when the show was canceled. Then, when they brought the show back, they split the movie up into separate episodes. I have the movie on DVD...lol
