Posted June 2, 201014 yr Every time I watch a marlins game in where it rains at some point of the game, it seems to me like the marlins confidence just drops. Even at home games where it rains most. When ever we have clear skies down here our players just play like we are better then whoever we are facing and tons more confidence, when it rains for some reason that seems to turn around our opponent gets the momentum and confidence and the marlins just do not play with the same attitude. I find this odd since we should be the kings of winning rainy games since we probably play in more then any other team in maybe the history of baseball. I don't know what the actual statistics are (can someone find that out for me ?) our record etc. during rainy games this year. but i just think that we should use rainy games to our advantage and definitely have more confidence then our opponents. sort of like what we do when its hot and humid... other teams come here and feel that and we take advantage. we should do the same with rainy games.
June 3, 201014 yr Not sure if there is any relation or not, but at least it's something we won't have to worry about in a couple of years!

June 4, 201014 yr I would still be willing to bet that for rain/weather delays and postponements we are most likely more towards the league average or lower for open air stadiums not in places like SoCal. Last year was a bit unusual, but over our history I would put $$$ on it. Makes for a good excuse for not going to the games, but that's about it.
