September 20, 201014 yr Wow, that's the second catcher this year. Earlier this year his former Texas teammate Jarrod Saltalamacchia had the yips as well and has been battling back all season.

September 20, 201014 yr Author It was the ESPN game last night..  its pretty hard finding video of baseball but I'll look. Hershiser said he was teammates with him in texas (or around him, i forget) and he said he never threw like that. It was really weird. He would sometimes take 3 or 4 steps before throwing it... when the game got close in the 9th, he would have the pitcher come closer to him. Even when he just flicked it back, it was a lob. Lots of pump fakes.. confused what to do with the feet. He was still getting it back to the pitcher.. just not very pretty. Just a very interesting phenomenon... for that to happen to a guy who has been playing the position his entire life. weird.
