Posted August 28, 201113 yr I was reading the thread about not spending money for next year and what not and i thought my boy Erick had a good idea. What about trying to make a trade for Peter Bourjos? He's a really good defensive CF'er, and the Angels might want to get value in return for him. I don't really see where he fits in their plans. Trout is the future CF'er there. Vernon Wells contract is basically impossible to trade. Torri Hunter still has another year left there, I believe. And one of Trumbo/Morales might have to move to a corner OF spot once Morales comes back. I don't know if it's possible, but I'd love Bourjos. I would love that if some how they got Bourgos and while there at it also get Trevor Reckling...crazy right but imo why not his numbers don't seem good enough for the Angels to actually ever use him he'd be another interesting experiment for the club if we could get him at a low cost. His numbers have not been the best the past few years, but the plus side is that he is 22 and he has some nasty pitches and has showed alot of promise, also this year he has worked out some of his problems and is slowly getting back to his self.
August 28, 201113 yr I'd like to trade for Mr. Met, he'd fit in next year with out new colors. Also, David Wright.
