Posted September 20, 201113 yr Who has been watching this season? The last episode was one of the best of the series.
September 20, 201113 yr Agreed, that was a really good episode yesterday. This has been a great season although every season of the show has been IMO.
September 20, 201113 yr Author Yea definitely. Rivaling The Shield and The Wire for my all time favorite show.
September 30, 201113 yr The Charger joyride and subsequent car torching is my favorite scene yet. Same here, and so was the bomb in tuco's office and the tortuga- lol. Something about Walt lying in the basement after the money was gone reminded me of a coffin, i hope it's not foreshadowing.
September 30, 201113 yr I got into this show about two months ago, and it is awesome. Caught up all the way to the last episode. The last 10 minutes...just wow. Favorite episode since "One Minute" in season 3.
September 30, 201113 yr Author Some good ones listed here.. I would say the end of "Half Measures" where Walt hits the guys with the car is my favorite moment. (Run.) One Minute is so good too.. and the turtle bomb. Very awesome. The original explosion in Tuco's office was great too. One of my faves is also when they are in the RV at the junk yard. So many good episodes Love this show. CAN'T WAIT for the last two episodes. No clue whats going to happen.. though I still think Gus will end up getting killed before the end of the season. Maybe Jessie, Walt and Mike vs. Hank in the last season?
October 1, 201113 yr I'm pretty confident Gus is a goner before the end of this year too. I think his run will be over and as you said Hank will become the main adversary in the final season. One of my favorite episodes was way back when they started using the lab in the laundromat. The fly going around the room constantly, it was really well directed.
October 1, 201113 yr Author I'm curious as to who will kill him.. we should set up some odds. I'm leaning Mike surprises us and takes him out.. but it could easily be Walt or Jesse.. or even Hank. who knows! I think by the end of this season, it could possibly pass The Shield... which I'd never thought I'd say. Thing with The Shield is it kept one-upping itself every season (as is breaking bad) but it also went 7 seasons. The Shield also ended the series in a great way.. something I'm sure breaking bad will do next year.
October 1, 201113 yr Mike taking out Gus as well is far more logical, as the Mexican "Hospital" would be the primary reason. Jesse helped Mike in that hospital, which shows me Gus isn't as loyal as Mike thinks. I think Mike takes out Gus, and Walt tries to keep Hank from figuring out how everything shook down. Gus showing up dead is a big red Flag to the DEA. I even think Saul kills someone to keep his shady practice afloat. Somethings to happen with all his crooked dealings. Most Notably Beneke's death. Their fingerprints are everywhere, the check is in the mail, and he's dead. Not good at all.
October 1, 201113 yr Ever since the season began, I've been thinking Mike isn't long for this world. I would hate that too, as I love his character.
October 1, 201113 yr Ever since the season began, I've been thinking Mike isn't long for this world. I would hate that too, as I love his character. He's looked like he was a goner a couple of times this year already which makes me think he'll actually survive into next season.
October 1, 201113 yr Nah, I think Mike is gone. Every episode he seemed invincible, going into situations where nearly every person in the world would've died and got out of it. I believe that him getting shot shows that he's not gonna make it into next season.
October 3, 201113 yr Author Geez Louise.. Mike being absent the last two eps makes me think he is going to come back in a big way in the season finale. Anyone think Walt may have been the one to poison the kid? Gus walking up the ramp and putting the pieces together and realizing there was a reason for him to be at the hospital and then he realized he was being set up. Crazy Question.. is there a show w/o Gus? Thats what I keep asking myself
October 3, 201113 yr Author or maybe Walt tried to poison Jesse (ala killing gale) and Saul's goons messed up and the kid ended up getting poisoned. That seems pretty reasonable
October 10, 201113 yr I've been absolutely loving season four, so was disappointed it came to an end. But what a way to end things. I was (sorta) wrong on two fronts going into this episode: I didn't think Walt poisoned Brock, and I didn't want Gus to be killed off - I think there are enough questions in his background to develop things further with him in the final season. But it became very clear during this episode that it would be his last. When I saw Gus walking out of Tio's room after the blast, I thought "no f***ing way he's still alive." Then the camera pans over and....wow. I thought, aside from the last shot, this had the feeling more of a series finale than a season finale, especially compared to season three's end. If I had to guess, I'd imagine the series ends next season with the cancer getting the better of Walt.
October 10, 201113 yr The creator of Breaking Bad made sure that the episode looked like it could be a series finale. When they filmed the season 4 finale, they didn't know if AMC was going to fund them the cash they needed for a fifth season.
October 10, 201113 yr Author Was pretty awesome. A little disappointed that Mike wasn't in the episode.. so you have to think he'll be back in a big way next season. I think next season will see Jesse become more of a major player with Mike by his side.. maybe jesse finds out walt poisoned the kid... or maybe something with Hank trying to find Heisemburg. What happens with Saul? Maybe Skyler tells Marie about whats going on.. who knows. Or maybe something with the germans? Who the hell knows but I am really interested to see where they go with the show in the last season.
October 12, 201113 yr Like Dan Harmon did with last season's Community, the AV Club has BB creator Vince Gilligan talking about every episode of season four in a four-part series, starting here: http://www.avclub.com/articles/vince-gilligan-walks-us-through-season-four-of-bre,63013/
July 13, 201212 yr Season 5 is starting July 15th, who's watching? It's the final season so it will be interesting to see how everything turns out. It will be especially interesting to see what happens to Walt, as to whether or not they make him out to be the villain, and also whether or not he gets caught or dies.
July 13, 201212 yr Annoying that they are splitting it into 2 parts. 8 episodes this Summer and 8 episodes next Summer. They should've ran all 16 now.
