A name i would love to see the Marlins consider at least as a first base coach would be Davey Lopes, believe he is with the Dodgers in some capacity. He's a great guy, I remember from his days with the Royals at Baseball City, I can't say he'll be a great coach, but I'm still excited to have him aboard. He and Niner should hit it off well as both came up through the Royals system. Sorry to hear about Perry, but he needs to get something done to those knees.
