Took long enough for that deal to happen. So Lakers to get Dwight, Nuggets get a fringe superstar, Sixers get their one chance at a superstar center (who's more likely to leave in the offseason than not, but whatever), and the Magic get a boatload of crap and cap space relief (looks like the got enough to be a bad team next year, but not the worst team in the NBA. Congratulations!).

So, they literally only give up Bynum and 1st-round pick and they get Howard? Unreal.

But no assurances he resigns after the season. Sounds like Dwight wants to go to Dallas now that Brooklyn is out of the question.

The thing to consider about free-agents to-be is that their current team can offer an extra guaranteed year and $25 million more than anyone else in free agency. So, they may not have assurance that they'll stay, they're still the heavy favorites to re-sign them.
