RIP Etta James

Sad news in the music world today. Etta James has passed away. The 73-year-old legend was terminally ill with leukemia and also suffered from dementia and Hepatitis C.

Timeless voice.

I always wanted this song to be played at my wedding. Although I'm delusional for thinking someone will actually want to marry me one day.

Meh, marriage is overrated. Although witnessing my parents' SEVEN different marriages may give me a biased view. Ha.

Yikes!

I may not be like most chicks in a lot of ways, but I admit guilt to (every once in a blue moon) Google imaging wedding dresses and trying to envision which one is the most "me." Then I envision the wedding, even if the groom has a question mark on his head. In every scenario, though, Etta James' "At Last" is the song played.

I'm too girly.

Edit: I need to get a life.

Oh you girl you.

And yes, RIP Etta James. Cancer has taken yet another good person.
