pach233 Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Well the offense still looked like garbage. Inexcusable not to score with the top of the order up and runners on 1st and 2nd no out. Ozzie almost blew it by bringing in Bell for the 9th when he should have obviously brought in Choate against the lefties. The save stat and the "closer" role are the most annoying things in baseball. Bell still looked like crap. Straight fastballs down the middle at 92 and a curve that he couldn't locate. I'll take any win at this point though and Nolasco certainly deserved it.
