Is now represented by Scott Boras. Basically means we'll never ssign him to a long term either!

Kinda tough to worry about that now seeing as he is set to earn the minimum for his first years when he is promoted and he's yet to throw a major league pitch anyway. A lot can change by then.

And the hits just keep coming!! I'm not saying Fernandez is the second coming of Josh Beckett, but the kid looks like he can pitch, maybe they can lock Conley up long term.

Doesn't matter, we'll never have to negotiate a contract with him.

Right, because we'll offer 10/200 and pray he accepts. No negotiations to be had.

Fernandez is Cuban.

All Cubans want to play for the Marlins because of the strong support the Miami area Cuban community gives the team.
