4/3 Post Game -- Too much fail

Just got back from the game. And it was freeeeeeeeeezing. Almost as cold as the Marlins' bats.

 

My thoughts: Solano's error was really unfortunate. Slowey hadn't been dominant or anything up until that point, but he did hold the Nats in check (except for Gio of all people). With the way the Marlins have been playing, a 1 run difference is huge in how your hitting approach varies. Clutch hitting is non-existent. JP is still fun to watch. Stanton doesn't seem comfortable up there. Hechavarria might never get a hit this season. He's less of a threat than the pitcher while at the plate. Ruggs put a charge into the ball a few times. I could have sworn he tied the game up with his final swing. Damn close.

 

It's a shame that holding the Nationals to 5 runs in the first two games literally amounts to nothing.

 

Oh well, I'll be out there tomorrow - one more time. Let's get 'em, Fish!
