Had to come off 60 day DL and we wanted that 40-man spot

I saw that yesterday, the main thing is we retain his rights, but he'll be subjected to the Rule 5 draft. Maybe a 2nd surgery will scare teams off.

It's tough because we already have so many outfielders/outfield prospects. We have no chance to try them all out long enough to get a grasp on their ability. We have to pick and choose.

I thought he had to stay on the 25 man or he goes back to the dodgers? Or did they not want him back?

I think because we had him on the roster all season, despite the fact that it was on the DL, we retain his rights.

Hopefully we can hang on to him and see a year in Triple-A during 2014. If this guy could ever rebound from these health issues and become the same player, that would be huge.

No guarantee Marisnick will hit etc. He is good to keep and who knows.

We have Ozuna. There's already going to be an issue there.

Silverio can simply work things out in Triple-A. Obviously Ozuna and Marisnick are on the fast track and they have the advantage. Silverio is going to first have to prove he can stay healthy, then he will have to perform, to make this a relevant issue. And if it becomes an issue, it's certainly a nice problem to have...

Can package one of those three with a pitcher or two and trade to get a good player that fills a need position, so definitely a good problem to have.
