canada-marlin24
The amount of easy strikes and outs that we give opposing pitchers is on acceptable.

Guest Vince0926
And of course marisnick has 2 hits today. I don't think he had 2 hits for us all year.
Guest Vince0926
And why didn't the marlins trade turner to Houston last week as well.

canada-marlin24
I love the catch, though Turner didn't make it count, but Stanton really brings this team down sometimes.

GuitarPik
Sorry man, the eyes don't lie. It's about time someone says it. Stanton is a beast, but he is slightly overrated at this point.

Guitarpik, I understand that everyone thinks he is great. I hear junk like OPS, OPPSSS, BABIP, WAR, EWAR, EHARMONY, whatever. I go by AVG, RBI, STRIKEOUTS. So he may leading this and that in WAR, yada yada, but on my tv, I see a couple of guys on and subsequently, a pop out to short (20%) a strike out (65%) a foul out to the catcher (4%), the occasional clutch hit (7%), or the monster home run (4%). He can lead in this this this and this, but with runners in scoring position, yikes. Example: today.

For one thing, RBI is a tough statistic to count so heavily because it relies on other players. If someone hits a triple with no one on base, he doesn't get an RBI, but if he grounds out with a runner on third, he does. Would you count a ground out as more valuable than a triple?
