Ozuna benched for showing up late

Featured Replies

Asked if Ozuna's punishment would be "a one-day thing," Redmond replied: "We'll see."

ooofff that's rough

Apparently they don't always take BP on Sundays but this time it was posted in the clubhouse on Saturday and Ozuna just missed it. Especially with the offense struggling I doubt they make this more than a one day thing. Especially because this seems like an honest mistake, unless there's something we don't know.

I know it's not trendy around here to like anything Red does but I like him benching Ozuna here. Red's a "nice guy" sometimes he'll have to make these disciplinary moves to establish these guys boundaries. Of course it helps that it was also an easy taylor made move to get Ichiro a start. Good move especially when you have the fourth outfielder that we do.

I feel like there's something more here. Redmond said "we'll see" when asked about Ozuna again after the game.

Maybe Ozuna has a chip on his shoulder, maybe Redman ate Ozunas lunch out of the clubhouse refrigerator. I'm not sure,

What kind of chip? MAYBE HE HAD REDMOND'S CHIPS ON HIS SHOULDER FROM RED'S LUNCH
