SilverBullet
While I'm sure they'll make a strong attempt at adding starting pitching, I'm not convinced on what they can realistically get. It's gonna be tough to acquire legit #2 & 3 starters. So I'm a bit worried we'll do what Boston did last offseason and just get a group of backend starters and hope they all add up to some kind of improvement. canada-marlin24
I am not a big Urena fan but I like what i am seeing with Conley. It seems that he finally letting loose and using his fastball. I recall being quite surprised when he came up because his fastball was only 89-91 and I remember people talking about him being a hard thrower. So its good to see his fastball at 93-95. fish14
I've always been big on Conley I don't get why he was pushed out of our top prospects list just because he had injuries last year. He, to me, is our best sp prospect outside of kolek. he absolutely can be a solid #3/4 or a very good late inning reliever if we so choose. I would choose 2/3 of cosart nicolino and Conley and put them in the rotation next year. Trade Koehler this offseason, put the 1/3 not in that group in the bullpen and then sign 2 starters this offseason
