Preston barely knows he's watching a baseball game.

I'd they hadn't included Capps in the deal the Padres wouldn't have sent back the elbow soreness. Fuck off Mike Hill.

Wait, we need @chuck carr to confirm this.

The Padres knew.

If it quacks like a duck it's a duck.

He was looking good. Very composed and good control. Good movement on the fastball. Fuck man.

Bad news,we have Urena again.

you mean the guy we could have just gone with all along and not had to give up Capps for?

Mike Hill should have done a background check on the physician that examined Rea! Damn you Mike Hill and your insubordination!

The silver lining: tonight happened before the trade deadline.

Do the Padres still have Quackenbush?

thats what the marlins get for demanding money back.

What we know right now is "elbow soreness". He was dominant during the innings he pitched. He was able to hit his spots and to repeat the delivery. I think it is a stress related injury, due to the fatigue of the last few days. I imagine the trade put him a lot of stress. Hopefully (I don't know anything) it is just fatigue. if so he makes his next start which we can give him because we have a day off Thursday. Until we hear that he tore his UCL I am going with stress. MRI will come tomorrow we should know by the third inning of tomorrow nights game.

Fingers crossed its soreness and not a strain.

We're lucky it happens before the deadline so we still got the chance to acquire one SP,if it happens at his next start then we have no any chance to do anything.

For better or worse, Chen will be back for us soon. He will take back Rea's spot (probably 10 days from now depending on strength).
