Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports that Wil Myers' contract extension with the Padres is for six years with an option for a seventh year and is worth $83 million.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal was first to report on Myers' impending extension last Friday, and Heyman has some more details. He did not specify what kind of option it was or how much it's worth. The contract covers Myers' three arbitration years and potentially first four years of free agency. He's coming off a season that saw him bat .259/.336/.461 with 28 home runs, 94 RBI, 28 stolen bases and 99 runs scored.
