Mass for Jose Fernandez in Cuba attended by Marlins officials

Beautiful. And kudos to Samson and Hill and the organization for still doing these things. Not that they wouldn't have but it's easy for an organization to mourn a celebrity death in public the few days after the death because it's what they're supposed to do and then turn away from it in the future. They didn't have to travel to Cuba for this but they did.

The organization seems to do the right things 50% of the time like traveling to Cuba here, going to Japan for Ichiro, the vets in Middle East........then the other 50% is Mike Hill trading players and Loria doing too much

To be fair those two types of things are totally different and you can say they do the right thing virtually 100% of the time when it comes to those human things like going to Cuba and japan and the middle east. The baseball stuff is questionable of course.

I'm just saying that is seems like the front office handles non-baseball things well; example: Jose passing, Stanton eye beaning, etc.
