DTrain
Marlins have won 4 in a row and 7 of their last 10. First 3 game sweep of Phillies in 5 years. Justin Bour 11 HR's in May. Dan Straily will never be Jose Fernandez but he's a very stable, focused pitcher. Start saving for Wild Card play-in game, boys. *the visit to the mound by Juan Nieves with 2 outs and a 8 run lead in the 9th was super awkward. Ellington threw 45 pitches We need to get rid of that shit not 4 pitch IBB's.

Admin
It's June 1st, too bad it's way too late. Anyone know where the 2003 Marlins were on June 1st? Also after 51 games?
JUSTfishIN35
Anyone know where the 2003 Marlins were on June 1st? Also after 51 games? Yes, they were actually 26-32 going into play on June 1st 2003. with all due respect that 2003 team had a bit more talent especially on pitching staff. However, saying that and being pleased w this current stretch. This is much closer to what we kinda hoped to see this yr. At least one starting pitcher pitching quite well. Although Not sure who thought that pitcher would be Straily but we'll definitely take it every time! Plus bullpen pitching better as of late and the core offensive guys doing what we need and expect them to do more often than not. So hopefully they're gaining some confidence in that clubhouse and In each other while washing the stink off too. Until the ownership/ Front office blows it up and sends us back to '98 fire sale or every other fire sale... ah screw it , who's still counting? About # 4 or so?? TaiwanMarlins
In the next series with the Dbacks,we would know our offense was really good or just because we're facing a group of suck Phillies' pitchers…
Jokersgoon
In the next series with the Dbacks,we would know our offense was really good or just because we're facing a group of suck Phillies' pitchers… More than likely the latter
SilverBullet
Our pitching was solid the Phillies and Angels series overall so I'm not buying that we can't win a few games over Arizona.
