Admin
So he's had no choice but to sign with us ? He had a choice. He could’ve waited for those other teams to be ready. He chose not to due to his bad experience with a short ST last year.
SilverBullet
Makes you wonder about all these free agents who aren't able to sign before March. MLB needs to figure this shit out. Free agency is such a disaster now in so many ways.

I'm rather enjoying the fact Harper and Machado are still unsigned and haven't inked those Stanton+ deals they both want. it certainly adds an element of mystery to who's going where next season as it'll be a mad rush once (if ever) they both get over their egos and realize teams aren't eager to dole out gazillion dollar long term contracts any longer. I'm waiting to hear reports of Boras' head imploding. P.S. I have a feeling if the top 2 FA's were both starting pitchers they'd have been signed though. Harder to find those legit #1 starters. I think you're right - look at Corbin, he was signed relatively early on to a sizable deal.
