6/29 Phillies at Marlins 4:10 PM

Not to shoot Glenn down but this goes back to the thread a few weeks back about ballpark atmosphere. The atmosphere was great tonight because the team played well, the game was competitive, and there was plenty of offense. If tonight's game was a 6-0 Phillies shutout the atmosphere would have still sucked even with the exact crowd in attendance.

Respectfully disagree simply because Philly was in town - atmosphere would have still been "good" because of the Philly fans that show up here. But had it been, say, the Royals in town and we were down 6-0, then yeah, more than likely.

Similar to a football game, we just might need one of the players to come out and try to hype up the crowd. Wave his arms around and such.

We're talking about atmosphere from a Marlins fan perspective. The amount of Phillies fans would make the atmosphere even worse. Marlins fans would have said "the team sucks , the game was boring, and the ballpark was full of the other teams fans, why would I ever go back?"
