hovertical
this is a good trade - clearly a "buyer" move for the Rays who are going to make a push.
mystikol87
Sanchez at #42 and Chisolm at #59, both higher than Diaz and Harrison at 86 and 88 on the Top 100 per mlb.com Along with Sixto, they have at least 5 Top 100 prospects.

SilverBullet
this is a good trade - clearly a "buyer" move for the Rays who are going to make a push. Low key excited for Richards on the Rays... if the Marlins aren't getting in the playoffs I always keep an eye on the Rays in the postseason. pollythewog
i'm a big Jesus Sanchez fan, also a big Nick Anderson fan. I wonder how the fish will use Stanek
FishFan95
Solid OF prospect from the Rays. And what's not to like about a reliever who has a 3.17 ERA, 1.115 WHIP BB9 of 3.5, and SO9 of 10.5 in the last 2 seasons in the AL East?
THRILLHO
Sanchez at #42 and Chisolm at #59, both higher than Diaz and Harrison at 86 and 88 on the Top 100 per mlb.com Which sanchez and which Diaz? How many victors?
pollythewog
@pollythewog yet another bat acquired... the offense is starting to fall into place... this team isn't that far off. I liked the trade. these guys are all 21/22 m8. I like the moves, but none of them are locks and will need time to develop either way
mystikol87
Bleday too Good point. So at least 6. And I feel like a couple of other dudes aren't far off. That's pretty impressive.
SongInTheAir
I wonder how the fish will use Stanek As a regular relief pitcher because Don "Ned Yost" Mattingly doesn't know how to handle anything beyond that.

THRILLHO
Focusing just on what we got from Arizona Tampa Bay and Minnesota it’s pretty exciting to see the hitting talent that’s come through in the last few days
fanofthefish
Not sure of the value of Stanek, but excited about Sanchez, saw him play last year in the FSL, looks like a good pick up for the Fish
CyggyMarlin
@pollythewog yet another bat acquired... the offense is starting to fall into place... this team isn't that far off. FishFan95
The Marlins now have 6 top 100 prospects on BA and 6 on Pipeline.

hovertical
Low key excited for Richards on the Rays... if the Marlins aren't getting in the playoffs I always keep an eye on the Rays in the postseason. yeah, i have a feeling he's going to do extremely well for the Rays. SongInTheAir
Don's nickname is actually Donnie Baseball That's a common misconception and I understand your mistake and won't judge you for it. "Don Mattingly" was born Donald Edward Baseball, so the well known "Donnie Baseball" nickname is actually a form of his birth name, Don E. Baseball. hovertical
Now we are two pitchers away again!!!! (need to replace Gallen and Trevor) Just give Juan Carlos Oviedo a call and ask him to change his name to "Zac Gallen and Trevor Richards". I'd even buy that jersey. I like the moves, but none of them are locks and will need time to develop either way Understood, just saying we're finally making strides in addressing the offense so pieces are falling in place. Obviously do need them to click.
