I debated a bunch of people on twitter about how the Marlins trades were not complete garbage. I claimed that the Marlins may be playoff bound by 2021. One guy retorted asked how the Marlins would get past the Braves, Phillies, and Nationals. After describing that the Phillies are a dumpster fire and the Braves would be the real competition, I said I thought the Nationals were a season or two away from a collapse. He (I reasoned that he is a Nats fan) claimed that there was no way the Nats would collapse as they have 4 top 50 prospects. I think he was from 2-3 years ago and we were talking through a time portal since the Nationals farm is terrible now.
