That's what we're all hoping for bud.

But apparently Grandal was also asking for 4-5 years at 18-20 per year. He turned down 4 yrs /60M from the Mets a month ago. So maybe they were also just waiting for his price to drop or didn't think the money made any sense for him. Regardless it's one less option on the board, without removing a suitor in the JT race.

I gotta say, saying that six teams are the front runners is pretty lame. That's not what being a front runner means... that's like saying the front runners to win the NL East are the Braves Nationals Phillies and Mets... especially when the 6 teams in this JT thing are the same 6 that have been mentioned in this almost since the beginning.

I don't think Joe has any new scoop here. He wrote that article as a response to Grandal signing. It's not false, but it's not new. Nothing has changed as far as JT. 

How can I leave Joe a downvote for this?
