Updated Fangraphs Top 130

Recommended Posts

Sixto comes in at #17 (higher than any Braves prospect fwiw).   Sixto is the 3rd highest ranked pitcher in the Top 100.

Diaz, Harrison and Alcantara didn’t make the Top 100 but they are in the Top 130.

Surprised to see that the Yankees have zero Top 100 prospects.

Blue Jays left side of the infield will be so good in 2020.

Wonder why they pick 130 specifically. Why not 125 or 150?

i think they include all 50FV and above prospects

No Victor Victor in these rankings...

he's 45+. Guy hasn't played in a few years and skillset is relatively unknown for mlb. If he performs, he could jump into top 50 in a month

Kind of scary how young Wander Franco is and he's second on the list. He's a shortstop who I imagine will possibly change positions [doesn't seem to have it as well on defense, but I could be wrong]. Absolutely tore up Rookie Ball, batted .351 with a 1.004 OPS [28 extra base hits in 273 PAs]. Seems to have good control of his strike zone as well.

VVM missed all of 2018. I asked in a separate thread, was wondering if he might have some injury issues? Only three of his seasons did he play more than 40 games.

Speaking of the Mesa Bros, what could we expect from Younger Victor? I don't see any stats on him anywhere.

Marlins in the unenviable position of having 1 player in the Top 100 prospects and 0 players in the MLB Top 100 players.

The goal, obviously, is that 2021 looks very different.
