But that's what the article title was!  It said so.  It must be true.

When they tell me why and not just tell me rehashed things from the past then I'll believe them.

I get it, things look and feel bleak now but sometimes I really think people miss the forest because they're looking at the trees.

Look at the whole donut, not just the hole in the donut.

You're not gonna be able to drive this point home until you start using 3 metaphors in your posts.

Not really saying we're headed to the same levels as the better teams on this list but just posting this for everyone still in shock that we suck this year. This is normal under the circumstances and there's no reason to care for much better in the win loss column. Just keep hoping that 2018 and 2019 lead to better in the future.

The bad news is that the Marlins are actually 2 games worse then they were in 1998 after 35 games when the team lost 108 games. The good news (relatively) is that it is the same record as when they only lost 100 in 2013 and fangraphs projects that that the Marlins will only be 1 game worse then 2013 at 61-101. And it looks very good for the 2020 draft order so far. Besides would you rather be a Marlins fan who expected to be this bad or a Nationals fan who is seeing their team crumble with great expectations?:

Considering we’ve been bad for the past 16 years, I would rather be a Nationals fan with expectations at the moment.
