He is improving at the Major League level as shown by last season, which you are saying yourself. Therefore, deserves a contract. It's a super cheap deal so it won't hurt anything. Last season he switched to the bullpen which almost means the previous seasons are irrelevant because the Marlins will use him as a reliever.
