Oh okay.

I would have preferred Marshall's Detwiler or at least TJ Maxx Detwiler, but I guess Ross will do.

Marshall’s Detwiler and TJ Maxx Detwiler would cost a little bit more than Ross Detwiler, but to be fair they do have slightly better stuff.

The more I think, the more upset to this signing. We all know he's not deserved to the major league contract and maybe we're the only team to offer him this.

There's no pleasing you. It's not an exciting signing but Detwiler did well in the White Sox pen last year, not sure why you have concluded that he isn't worthy of a major league contract.

You have to think about these smaller pen signings as Detwiler replaces Tarpley (easily an improvement), Adam Cimber replaces someone like josh smith (just getting rid of Smith was an improvement and though Cimber isn't spectacular, he's been consistently solid and FIP numbers show it's not luck). Plus, there's still an opportunity for someone like Hand, or Liam Hendricks to be signed later in the offseason.

And if they don't end up signing a big bullpen arm, that's fine too, cause Edward Cabrera is gonna end up in the rotation this season at some point and that opens up the possibility of someone like Elieser or Richards getting bumped into the pen to help out. Or maybe Guzman learns to rely on a 2-seamer instead of a flat 4 seamer and becomes a solid bullpen arm. The offseason is young, and there isn't anyone not named the SD Padres that is really doing anything, so let's give it a chance to develop lol

You really think the Rays will let us put Richards in our bullpen? I mean maybe they wanna be nice but I don't see it happening.

Get out of here with this bullshit. It's already 2021, whoever hasn't made any moves by now it's because they don't want to and they have no time left to do anything else.
