I’d love to add to the offense, but this team really needs a couple more bullpen arms to truly compete. At least 1 more lefty, and a couple of more power arms capable of dominating the 7th and 8th innings. Yes but I'm just saying we already have starting pitching, bullpens can be patched up relatively easily, so take what we already have and give them an offense that will score runs more consistently and there's no reason we can't actually be serious contenders at that point. It's an almost laughable quote because it's obvious but John Smoltz the other day said "The Marlins can pitch, if they can score runs watch out" but I think for us that sums up exactly where we're at. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
