If Marlins knew how to hit when Pablo pitches, based on all his starts this year, Pablo could pretty easily be 5-1 right now, after one month of the season, leading the MLB in wins. The batters wouldn’t even have to had done that much, just score 3-4 runs on the games he pitched. 😂

Monte Harrison can’t hit. The lineup stinks, and Yimi blew it in the 10th. It is what it is.

If all the signs, as they said, pointed to him improving his swings at the ATS and in Spring Training, then you gotta let him take a shot. Bunting and going for a single run on the road is dumb, every single time.

Yea I would have let Monte swing. And with Cooper and Rojas coming up, they can hit, with the runner already on second there's no need to play for a sac fly only. If after Monte there were two awful hitters like Wallach then maybe playing for one is more reasonable (though still not ideal), but with Rojas and Cooper coming up there was no need.

Yes, I know, Don wasn't the one hitting the balls right at fielders, Don wasn't the one failing to score runs through regulation. The little things matter in the end, and they showed again tonight.

And yes, I know, he didn't serve up that meatball to Schwarber.

Yimi's Statcast peripherals are ... really, really bad, though.

All the signs point to Lewis Brinson improving in Spring Training too. Every player we got back from the Brewers stink.

We have no bench because we have 698 injuries. Half of our position players don’t belong in the big leagues so Don was probably hoping Yimi could do what he did in Atlanta with a 1-run lead. Our lineup is awful.

And Miggy did hit a ball hard, too. 103.8 right at Turner.

Eh not this year. lol

But really. If all reports, everything was saying Monte looked improved, let him take at least one hack at it before you call for the bunt.

Regardless of whether or not Harrison bunts there, we only would’ve ended up with 1 run. Doesn’t really make a difference.

Don’s most questionable decision tonight was actually taking Pablo out for Bass, but that worked out anyway.

A whole game scratching and clawing and...poof...Yikesmi.

If they are not competing this year ... this is going to happen.

Let's see if they can even it up tomorrow.

We have Chad Wallach back tomorrow, I like our chances...

Seriously, we have the worst bench in the big leagues right now lol.

Huh? If Monte gets a solid hit and Devers scores we then have Rojas and Cooper up with a man on, decent opportunity for a second run.

Pablo Lopez has a better chance of getting a hit.

Monte struck out in 51% of his plate appearances last year, we need to start being realistic about him being bad at baseball.

Again, if they truly believe he improved his swing and his abilities at the plate, they need to prove it and let him take a shot.
