7-6 Marlins vs Braves

Recommended Posts

What exactly will it take for Don Mattingly to realize JT Riddle can not play the outfield? He cost the Marlins last night's game by chickening out at the wall in the 9th--and on his first chance just now, he veered sideways instead of back to give the Braves a gift double. It's not exactly that he has a booming bat they need in the line-up. He's hitting under .200.

not down with the Riddle experiment either, unless they are working on his trade value to bring up Brinson after the break

Other GMs: "I really need a guy who can play the outfield and hit .197, never walk, and strike out in 1/3 of his at bats!"

Riddle is an interesting one.  When he was on for the 1st half last year, he was incredible.  When he fell apart, it was the worst I've ever seen.  He hasn't done much since.  I wish he could figure out what happened.

He's a streaky hitter whose hot streaks are way too short to make up for how long and awful his cold streaks are.

Which OF are you talking about, Riddle or Brinson?
