I like that he's working fast. 13-14 pitches per inning, hitting the strike zone, using all of them.

Love a pitching speedrunner. Mark Buehrle, baby.

Hard hit one there, too bad

[Awaiting the statcast]

76.5 mph. Eh. lol

There seems to be a slight extra delay on the cameras used from center field compared to the rest of the cameras.

If and when we get all our starting pitchers back, what do we do with Poteet? Pen? If so, what role / inning?

When Elieser comes back, Poteet should slide nicely into that #5 spot for now.

Sixto and Ed still a ways off it seems, so Poteet may be here a little while.

Ed probably comes up as a reliever, and that'll more than likely be in August, I'd imagine.

But if we're gonna keep Poteet up, definitely a roaming spot starter kind of long relief guy. Just not sure who we'd send down. But there's always injuries that happen, so ... we'll see!

When they all make it back, gonna be a nice problem to have... Cody would be good in a 6th/7th inning role, maybe an occasional 8th when bullpen needs a rest

I say keep him stretched out and in order to keep our big arms fresh (Sandy, J'Daniel, PabLopez), we're going to need some spot starts down the line. I wouldn't want him pigeon-holed into one or two inning spots.

I forgot we may be adding Cabrera to the bullpen mix

Keep him in AAA stretched out as a starter for when we need him again.

At 93 pitches, I image that is it for Poteet. Although if I was manager I would consider him going 8. It's not like any of those innings were very stressful.

He did what we asked of him and that's good enough for me! 😄
