Or is this maybe a Kim Ng philosophy? We heard a lot about not wanting to trade in division for Realmuto too. They were just wowed enough to pull that trigger. It worked out anyway. Even with the 2 years of control, the Phils have yet to put up a winning season. He could have signed as a free agent this year with Philadelphia and they would still have Sixto. Plus Sixto was an integral part of the playoff run for the Marlins last year, which I am like 70% sure was in fact real, and not a dream I had.
