Ship's sinking lol

Or maybe I should say the Titanic has now cracked in half and the remainder is going down.

Well depending on how serious Coops injury is, we may well now know who gets kept between him and Aguilar.

If the Marlins do keep 1, I think it's a tough choice. It should say that Coop is the better hitter, they are both bad baserunners, and Aguilar is the better defender. However, defense is irrelevant if they add the DH next year (which seems likely). Aguilar is the better teammate. It might come down to years of control- advantage Coop.

But, they very well could trade both (not necessarily both at the deadline) and we saw with Dick, that being on the IL doesn't prevent a trade anymore.

Coop spends way too much time on the IL to be considered too big of a part of the future plans.

Most of his injuries have been in the field. He would stay healthier if DH was an option. Plus he could play through certain injuries that hamper fielding more than hitting.

Lineup getting juicier every day

  • The title was changed to Cooper and Jazz headed to IL

Makes it an easier decision to trade Marte and whoever else. This season crumbled pretty quickly. At least it wasn't a long drawn out death.

Fuck yeah, open up 2B for an everyday job for Isan Diaz!!!

I have high hopes for Brinson. 33rd time is the charm.

I’d trade cooper in heart beat over Aguilar. Aguilar better overall player and person

I don't know about the "and person" part. Aguilar is just a clown is all. Nothing bad has ever been printed or said that Coop is a bad teammate. Not everyone ballplayer wants a dude who is clowning all the time. That said, I do love his antics - just not going to count that as part of a reason to keep him over Cooper

Not that anyone would have expected anything different, but I'll save you the search:

Bellatti is bad. Another pitch to contact guy. 29 years old. Not a prospect, not a guy that would be on a good team's roster.

Mattingly will use him in the 8th inning when we're down 1 run to make sure we can't win.

He’s finally seen the light

"Alright we lost two hitters, what should we do ..."

"Call up the guy hanging by a thread's thread and a pitcher."

"Why a pitcher?"

"BECAUSE!"

I think we are the worst offensive team in the major league baseball.

Not even sure you can call the dude a pitcher, he's just a dude who pitches.
